Welcome to the Columbia Basin Family Resource Society (CBFRS)! We provide an wide range of services to children, youth, and families through both one to one and group support. We have been operating in the Elk Valley and South Country since 2002, and strive to work with existing services in the area to promote strength and wellness to all families.
We share a location and administration team with the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre. Please feel free to drop in any time during our drop in hours: Monday to Friday 9-1. We love to help people looking for support find the right program for them.
Our Mission
The society will provide support and assistance to families in the Fernie and Columbia Basin area as well as providing programs and services that will encourage safe and healthy families. The society may also carry on education and research related to families.
