Community Living BC (CLA)

We provide one to one and group support for adults and their families who qualify for services through Community Living BC. Some examples of support could include: helping you find housing options that encourage your independence while meeting your unique needs, connections with community services that support you, help in finding and maintaining the right type of employment, and enhancing social and life skills.

Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN)

We provide one to one services for children, youth and their families who require additional educational, medical/health, and social/environmental support. The goal is to enhance or improve your health, development, learning, quality of life, participation and community inclusion.

Protection Family Services (PFS)

We work with children, youth, and families to address the protection issue that led to involvement with the Ministry of Child and Family Development. The ultimate goals are to keep families together, help families solve problems on their own, and help families recognize and focus on the things that are working in their relationships. We value the strengths you already possess and work hard to provide you with a program that builds on those strengths.

Protection Children and Youth Care (PCC)

We work one on one with children and families to address the protection issue that led to involvement with the Ministry of Child and Family Development. We help kids develop appropriate social and life skills, achieve personal goals and facilitate activities within the community. We help kids attain their goals through mentoring, role modeling, problem solving, and helping to build communication and trust.

Supervised Access (SA)

We provide supervision for families who have children in the care of the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD). We know how difficult it is to have you children in the care of MCFD. We want these times to be a time for positive interactions between you and your children to promote healthy child development. We can also, at your request, help provide parenting support and education.

Work and Independent Skills Program (WISP)

We work with youth aged 16-18 who have entered into a youth agreement with the Ministry of Child and Family Development. We help you by teaching and assisting you in skills such as returning to school, budgeting, maintaining a residence, healthy and safe food preparations, resume writing, job hunting, and communication. The goal is to maintain healthy and happy independence.

Voluntary Family Support (VFS)

We work one to one with families that recognize they need extra support. We help by providing parenting strategies and support through many different issues by mentoring, role modelling, problem solving and helping to build communication and trust.
