Protection Child and Youth Services
The Columbia Basin Family Resource Society works one-on-one with children and youth who have been referred by the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD). Child and Youth care workers help kids by developing appropriate social and life skills, achieving personal goals and facilitating activities with their clients in the community. Each referral from MCFD has individualized goals. CBFRS workers help their clients attain these goals through mentoring, role modeling, helping to build communication, trust and problem solving. We value the strengths that children and youth already posses and work hard to provide them with a program that builds on those strengths
